7/24/17 Batismos!!! Batsimos Are Fallin EVERYWHERE!!!!!! :(

Well pessoal :) This week was....ok. Lots of weird and new things happened this week. Also..... we had 2 batismos marked...and they both fell through.... :( Or in Portuguese.. they fell, caíram... :/ I'm not so happy... but they are just gonna happen some other time...It was Vitória and Gleice. They both said that they wanna wait a little longer..That it's too early for them... so we're going to wait for a little more :) But they said they are going to... just when. they don't know... so yeah.... also this week... we stopped teaching Antonio cuz he doesn't want to do anything... he doesn't even want to read or pray at night...also he is saying that God has to give him something first and then he is going to get baptized... so yeah.. he doesn't want to show the faith that I know he has... and we can't keep going anymore... real sad cuz he's suuuper great.. but he doesn't want our help anymore.

But... on a better note, we found some real good people!!! They seem really interested, but they didn't go to church.. barely anyone did.... even the members..... it was sad.. but next week is going to be better... I have faith that it's gonna be :)

Well... also this week, it was Devanir´s Birthday... so we wanted to do something special for her :) She planned a little party for us and herself on Friday and we ate there and then we went over again on Saturday and had another party... but a surprise. we made a cake, bought a crown and made a card for her :) Then we went to her place and with the help of our accomplice Felipe.. we surprised her :) That night was hilarious. Rabelo kept dropping everything. She dropped a candle in the shape of a number five and it broke 2 times..... there was no way for it to stand up on the cake.. so we layed it down and the other candle was stood up XD XD We baught candles to say 15... because her spirit is 15 years old XD XD So yeah :) Also that night we met a guy named Lucas who seemed interested in the church too :) We're going to visit him this week :) 

Well... nothing else much happened....     I'M GONNA MAKE 1 YEAR!!!!! woohoo!!! Man is time flying by....   Oh also.. I got a Book of Mormon in Spanish.. so I'm gonna try and learn Spanish :) I can understand everything when I read.. it, it's just speaking.. I don't know a thing.. so yeah :) That's exciting :) And President told me that I am staying here for one more transfer. I'll be staying till' September. I'm happy... but also not so excited.... I love this ward.. the people.... everything.. it's just I've already been here for 4 months and I'm getting kinda tired of finding people here... I feel like I have spoken to literally everybody... maybe not everybody. but you know what I mean...

Also.. sorry for any grammar mistakes.. I'm out of time and am using a super poopy keyboard... so sorry :P But yeah :) Also this week the Elders.. our district leaders came to help us with our work. It was good :) Had fun with them.. it was kinda weird though.. but they helped a lot :) and Sheila isn't in our ward anymore.. she has to go to another ward... so that's sad.. but she's gonna stay here until Gleice gets baptized :) and yeah..... that's pretty much it :)

I know I have a lot more I could say.. but I can't remember now and I am OUT OF TIME!!!!!! But, I love you all and I hope you all have a great week :)

7/17/17 Party All The Time!!!!..... After We Work

Hello!!!!!!!!! 

Man... is it cooold!!!! It's getting pretty cold here... it was suuuper hot this week and now today and tomorrow are gonna be in the 30s in farenheit. Man.... what a difference. But.... i'm excited :) 

So, this week was super fun and we were able to meet some cool people... even though they didn't go to church... but they seem like they have some real potential :) There's Alan, who is suuuuper cool and was super welcoming. Also, Larissa, who said that she has been waiting and looking for an answer from God to help her with some problems she is having and said that we were that answer...... no I'm not crying........ and also João. He is suuuper interested and was asking a whole bunch of questions :) I am so excited for them cuz they all are such great people and have some great potential too :) 

So also this week we had a PARTY!!!!! FES-TA FES-TA FES-TA!!! It was pretty great :) There is a holiday here called São João or Junina that celebrates the pioneers or the settlers here in Brasil :) I'm pretty sure that's what it's about... i don't really understand the holidays here..... but if i get to party... it's all good with me :) So we had that and had a blast. Sister Rabelo was crazy!! She loves this holiday soooo much :) 

Also this week we had Sister Whitehead and Sister Favorito, or Sister Souza, come over cuz their house is being refurnished, so they partied at our place this week :) But then the party shortly ended when the Sister Training Leaders came over.... just kidding :P But they came over too, so this week there were 6 sisters at our apartment :) It was great :) We had french toast and pop and just got real fat and then danced it all off to mission music :) 

So with the divisions we did with the Sisters, it was real good :) I learned so much :) I thought that I was training Sister Rabelo totally wrong and that I'm not progressing in my teaching skills, but the STL told me how I was doing and that I am doing everything fine :) So that was good to hear :) 

Well... that's basically all that has happened this week. We talked to Gleice and Vitória and they are gonna be baptized this week :) Vitória Friday and Gleice Saturday :)

7/10/17 Sheila and More Bênçãos

Well... this week was just amazing :) So first of all.... BATISMO!!! Sheila got baptized Saturday and then yesterday at church she received the gift of The Holy Ghost and was confirmed a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints :) So exciting :) Irmão Valdeci baptized and blessed her :) He's the teacher for the Gospel Principles class in the ward :)

Well... Sheila is now officially happy and now we are goin' to help her sobrinha, neice, to be baptized too :) She wants to soo bad... so we are gonna help her... it's just her mom is a little complicated... so we are gonna work with them :)

Also, we met a lady who is just amazing. She is always finding a way to help others and sometimes she forgets to help herself. We met her Friday and went to her house yesterday :) She was so happy to see us cuz she has been so focused on helping others that she was so grateful that there were some other people that wanted to help her :) She said she's gonna go to our party in the ward this Friday and also to church Sunday with her neighbor :) She is literally amazing :) Cristiane :) We´ll have to see where the Lord is goin' to take her :)

So... also this week we are talking to another menina whose same is Vitória. She has a friend in another ward...so she wants to get baptized.. but go to the other ward... but she lives in our area... it's kinda complicated.. but we are gonna talk to her and her mom is all for it.. she just needs to receive the lessons and then.... she will be a follower of Christ!!!! :)

Well... that's basically all that happened this week, but it was great :) Have some great people to teach.

Well.. nothing much happened.. but im happy and excited :) Cidade Nova (New City) .. is becoming more like Cidade Velho (Old City) cuz i have already talked to everyone here, knocked at every house... but just gotta #dealwithit so yeah.... but i still like it :) Rabelo is soooo amazing. She is so funny. The other night we stayed up reeeaall late... just talking in the dark and laughing our heads off XD XD I cried so much XD XD She is literally another sister :) She's great :)
