Also, we had a baptism this week, so i'm excited about that too :) JOSÉ WAS BAPTIZED SATURDAY!! :) Man.. and he and Adelino were confirmed yesterday too :) It was a pretty good week :)
Well.... this week was full of talking to people... teaching and also bringing people to church :) If you guys remember Rosangela, she is a pesquisadora and her family too. She didn't go to church this Sunday, but her daughter and her namorada did :) They said that they enjoyed it :) and felt something really special :) So now that i know that I am gonna stay here.. i'm gonna work with them a little more with my daughter, filha :) I'm so excited :)
Also, we had a Party for Sister Gomes Monday at Dayanes place. It was pretty amazing :) Had some cake and soda.. got fat and now i have diabetes, but it's all good :)
Also, we had a party for Willian, Adelinos friend, cuz he's going on a mission. It's called Chá Missionário, it was suuper fun. José was baptized right before his little festa :) He loved it too :)

6/12/17 No Pain, No Gain

HELLO!!!!! Well this week was pretty good :) First off.... BATISMO!!!!! Adelino was baptized yesterday!!! Man was that some hard work. We taught him for 2 months!!!!! Man, he was difficult.. but... he finally said yes :) On wednesday he said yes :) So we are super excited for him and next Sunday he's going to receive the Holy Ghost and be confirmed a Member of The Church of Jesus Chirst of Latter-Day Saints :) So exciting :) His friend Willian baptized him :)
Well... also this week José, the 18 year old we've been teaching, went to church all by himself yesterday. We were running late to pick him up, so he left and when we got there his mom said that he had already left :) So awesome :) Also on Friday we had divisions with the STLs, sister training leaders. It was awesome. Taught about the first vision again and he loved it. We gave him a Book of Mormon and he started reading it right when we gave it to him :) He's amazing and we are gonna ask him to be baptized this week :)
Well, today is also Sister Gomes' Birthday!!! 21 years old!!!! We have Pday with the Zone today so it's gonna be a huge party!! :) and yesterday some members gave Gomes a surprise party, at Fabianas place :) Which I ruined the surprise... Fabiana called me yesterday and said, make sure that sister gomes isn't near you to hear... but I misunderstood, make sure sister gomes is near so she can hear... so I put it on speaker phone and then she heard everything.... oh my.... well..... obviously I haven't changed cuz I'm still embarrassing.....  :)

Sister Leite is leaving Thursday... so I'm excited and also sad.. my "mom" on the mission is leaving!! I'm gonna be an orphan!!!! But I'm excited for her :)
We met a lady named Rosangela, who lives with her daughter Joyce and Joyce's son, Lorenzo :) They are suuper interested in the church and Rosangela went to church with us yesterday :) She thought it was 9 at night and not in the morning, so we got there at 8:30 in the morning and she quickly got ready to go with us :) So great :)
We also had Conferencia with Presidente and took some pics there and learned how to be better missionaries :) It was real good :)

Well.... that's pretty much it :) I'm going to Londrina this week with Sister Gomes to do some paperwork and then were gonna return and teach Rosangela and José more :) We have some other people.. but they are learning still :)
Well... that's basically it :) I love you all and I hope you all have a great week :) I know that Cristo is always there for us when we have troubles, so just have the courage to kneel down and pray :)

Love you and TCHAU!!!!
Com amor, Sister Ferguson

6/5/17 Pesquisadores and FOOD. Lots of FOOD!!!

OLA TODAS AS PESSOAS!!!!!!! Tudo bem com vocês? :)
Well..... this week was pretty good :) We made some friendships with our pesquisadores and members... also brought 4 people to church yesterday :) They all loved it :) Also, Saturday there was an activity that we brought 9 poeple to. And let me tell you... they loved it. The activity was a huge Almoço and then a dessert competition. :) I made an apple pie :) It was pretty good.. I was surprised with myself cuz when it comes to baking... better have a trash can ready near you :P But it was good and everyone else thought it was good too :) SO YEAH!!!!!! I can bake!
Well, this week we met some of the girl's friends that they told us about. 3 of their friends went to the activity with us, Maria Eduarda, Eloise, and Lais. :) They're real cool and loved the Ward :) Also another Maria, that is married to Joaquin, she came with her 3 grand daughters and José, our other pesquisador with 18 years. :) He´s super cool and loved Maria and Dayane :)
We also met a guy named Fabricio. He said he was gonna come to church and the activity, but something came up both days..... finger quotations..... but he was super kind and real educated when he spoke :) He's cool :) So we are gonna work with him this week and see where the Lord takes him :)
I also bought new shoes!!! If you guys saw what my Ma put on my blog she made for me... I got new shoes and I only use these old ones during the rain... cuz they're already ruined :P So now I'm walking all fancy in my new shoes :)
Well... it's starting to get cold here and today there is gonna be a HUGE storm..... so Pday in the house!!! Finally gonna sleep :)
Well.. love you all and I hope that everything is going well with you all and I love the Mission and for this time I get to spread the true Gospel of Jesus Cristo with everyone here in Brasil :) Love you all and talk to you all next week!!!!!

It Is Well with My Soul | BYU Vocal Point (A Cappella)

5/29/17 10 Months And Converts TOPs!!

Hello everybody!!!!! Well..... 10 months have already past. It's hard to believe.... it's gone by so fast :) I love the mission and I'm a little nervous for home... but I got time to think about that :) ANYWAYS!!!! I love the mission :)
Well... this week was good :) Nothing super cool happened... but we had some good bonding time with members and pesquisadores. Like yesterday... after church, had Almoço and our meeting with Felipe and then we went to Irmã Fabiana´s who is amazing. We ate literally everything. Cake, jello, crackers, juice of Maracujá, this white corn soup.. that i didn't enjoy very much.. but the others did, and lots of marshmallows :) It was real fun :)
Well, first off.. TOP means amazing or the best.... and our converts are TOP!!! Maria and Dayane are just great :) They got ready for church, went there and went to a choir practice later that night and Maria went to mutual Saturday all by herself, they are doing personal progress and helping each other to get their helping bees, they gave us a reference to one of their friends to talk to them about the church, and they are wearing clothes in the standards, aren't cussing and are just great :) They always ask me to translate a song into English to make sure it's ok so that they aren't listening to something bad... even in another language XD XD They are just great :)
Well.... nothing much happened this week. Adelino went to Institute, the class for the young single adults, and he liked it . He was also interviewed for baptism, but he still doesn't wanna be baptized. Also the bishop here said that we are some of the better missionaries that have passed here in this Ward :) So that was a hairflip moment :) And well... yeah :) I love the mission and am so excited for what the next 8 months brings me :)
I love you all and am so happy for the love and support that you all give me :) I hope you all have a great week :) Also... I have a new favorite song. It Is Well With My Soul, the BYU Vocal Point version. So good :) Love it :) Look it up :)
I love you all and have a great week :)
Love Sister Ferguson
